Morrison went a perfect 4-for-4 in his first game with his new team, leading Eastbound & Dahn to a 10-4 victory over the Ham Slams.

The Ham Slams boasted a brand new roster to start the 2015 season, returning Charlie, Josh, and Steve from 2014 but adding three EWL rookies in Tim, Dan, and Adam. They returned to their workhorse, Charlie, who took the mound to start the game. He struck out the first batter he faced, Tim, and pitched a scoreless top of the first inning.

Eastbound penciled in Nate as their Opening Day starter, and the first batter he faced, Josh, pelted a solo shot to left, putting the Ham Slams up 1-0 immediately.

Nate allowed a one-out triple to Dan in the bottom of the fifth, but stranded the runner, preventing the Slams from tying the game.
