Jack Shack Destroy Indifferent Guacamol-yay in 12-0 One-Hitter

Guacamol-yay threw in the towel on the 2021 regular season as Brian and Adam combined to throw a one-hit shutout, and all four Jack Shack players had at least three hits apiece in a 12-0 beatdown. Josh D and Brian each had two doubls and two homers, Turbo had two doubles and a triple, and Adam had four hits including a double and a homer in the easy Jack Shack victory.

Brian started on the mound for Jack Shack, and he retired Ryan and Kyle in order in the top of the first.

Josh K started for Guacmol-yay and he was hit hard early. Adam led off the game with an inside-the-park homer fueled by a series of Guacamol-yay throwing errors. Two batters later, Turbo hit a one-out double, but he was caught trying to extend the hit into a triple, ending the inning.

Brian rolled through the top of the second, sending Josh K and Jude down consecutively.

Jack Shack opened up a big lead in the bottom of the second. Brian doubled, and Adam drove him in with an RBI single that made the score 2-0. Josh D followed with a two-run bomb to right, putting Jack Shack in front 4-0. Two batters later, Brian hit a one-out solo homer, giving Jack Shack a 5-0 lead. Josh K finally escaped the inning, getting Adam to fly out for the second out.

Brian once again retired the side in order in the top of the third.

Guacamol-yay turned to their bullpen in the bottom of the third, bringing Jan to the mound. He retired Josh D and Turbo in order, and the score remained 5-0.

Guacamol-yay registered their first hit of the game when Kyle led off the top of the fourth with a single. Unfortunately for them, it would be their only hit in the game, and Brian retired Josh K and Jude to strand Kyle at first, ending the inning.

Jack Shack blew the game open in the bottom of the fourth. Brian led off the inning with a solo homer, extending the Jack Shack lead to 6-0. Adam singled, and when the next batter, Josh D, doubled, Adam was caught out trying to score on the play, for the first out of the inning. Turbo followed with a one-out double, scoring Josh D, and Jack Shack led 7-0. Brian then doubled, scoring Turbo, and the lead was 8-0. Adam doubled, putting runners on second and third, and Josh D cleared the bases with his second double of the inning, making the score 10-0. Turbo then tripled, scoring Josh D, and Jack Shack had scored six runs to take an 11-0 lead. Jan finally got out of the inning by retiring Brian for the second out, and Guacamol-yay trailed by eleven.

Jack Shack brought Adam to the mound from the bullpen in the top of the fifth. He retired Jan and Ryan in order.

Jack Shack added an insurance run in the bottom of the fifth when Josh D hit a one-out solo homer, making the score 12-0. Jan then retired Turbo to end the inning.

Guacamol-yay went quietly in the top of the sixth, as Adam closed things out by retiring Kyle and Josh K in order, giving Jack Shack a 12-0 victory.
