
Brian pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only thee hits, as Jack Shack moved within a game of advancing to the Wiffle Series
Jack Shack came into their first round series with the Guac Boys as underdogs, but after the first two games of the series, they had outscored their opponents 12-2, and with a win in game two they were one victory away from returning to the Wiffle Series for the first time since they won the title in 2020. Brian was dominant on the mound, allowing only three hits and only one runner past first base, as Jack Shack maintained a narrow lead throughout the game. Brian, Austin, and Adam homered in the top of the sixth, putting the game out of reach, and giving Jack Shack a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five first round series.
Kyle took the mound for the Guac Boys, and the first batter he faced, Rob, doubled. Kyle got the next batter, Austin, to ground out to right, but Rob scored from second on the play, giving Jack Shack a 1-0 lead. Kyle then retired Adam to end the inning.
Alec led off the bottom of the first with a single for the Guac Boys, but Brian stranded him, retiring Jude and Brum to strand the runner at first, ending the inning.
Kyle struck out Josh to start the top of the second, and after allowing a one-out double to Brian, he retired Rob to strand the runner at second, and the score remained 1-0.
Brian rolled through the bottom of the second, retiring Kyle and Anthony in order.
Kyle matched Brian in the top of the third, sending Austin and Adam down consecutively.
Jude singled with one out in the bottom of the third, but the Guac Boys couldn’t advance him. Brian retired Brum to strand the runner at first, and Jack Shack maintained a one-run lead.
Kyle retired Josh and Brian in order in the top of the fourth, and Brian did the same in the bottom half of the inning, sending Kyle and Anthony down consecutively.
Jack Shack threatened in the top of the fifth, but Kyle and the Guac Boys escaped a jam. After retiring Rob to start the inning, Kyle allowed back-to-back singles to Austin and Adam, putting runners on first and second. Kyle buckled down, however, retiring Josh to strand both runners, and the Guac Boys continued to trail by a single run.

Jude doubled with one out in the bottom of the fifth, and the Guac Boys had the tying runner in scoring position. They couldn’t capitalize, however, as Brian retired Brum to strand Jude at second, and Jack Shack continued to lead 1-0 heading into the final inning.
After both teams combined for a single run through five innings, Jack Shack opened up a sizable lead in the top of the sixth. Brian led off the inning with a solo homer, putting Jack Shack ahead 2-0. Two batters later, Austin homered to right-center, extending the lead to three runs. Adam followed with Jack Shack’s third solo shot of the inning, and the back-to-back jacks made the score 4-0. Kyle retired Josh to end the inning, and it would be an uphill climb for the Guac Boys in the bottom of the sixth.

In addition to picking up the win, Brian went 2-for-3 with a double and a homer in the Jack Shack win
Brian quickly closed things out in the bottom half of the inning, retiring Kyle and Anthony in order, giving Jack Shack a 4-0 win in game two.
The win put Jack Shack ahead 2-0 in the best-of-five first round series, and one win away from advancing to the Wiffle Series.

-Austin, Adam, and Brian each had two hits for Jack Shack. Austin went 2-for-4 with a single, a homer, a run scored, and an RBI. Adam also went 2-for-4 with a single, a homer, a run scored, and an RBI. And Brian went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, a run scored, and an RBI.
-Jude was the only Guac Boys player with multiple hits going 2-for-3 with a single and a double.
