After reaching the Wiffle Series for the first time in franchise history in 2023, Guac Boys came into 2024 with one mission; championship. The runners-up got off to a mediocre start to the season but have recently started to heat up, led by Alec, who was nearly perfect in two week 3 wins that pushed his squad into a tie for first place in the season standings. After his impressive week 3 performance, Alec was voted Pabst Blue Ribbon Wiffler of the Week for week 3 of the 2024 season.
In a big 11-8 win over Shady Characters, Alec went 3-for-4 with a single, double, triple, two runs scored, and two RBI.
In a 6-4 win over Cheap Goats, he went 3-for-3 with a single, double, home run, two runs scored, and three RBI.
In total, Alec went 6-for-7 with two singles, two doubles, a triple, a home run, four runs scored, and five RBI in two week 3 victories.
This is the second time in Alec’s career that he has been voted Wiffler of the Week. He also earned the award in week 3 of the 2023 season.
