Defending champs Guac Boys remained undefeated after a big top of the sixth propelled them to a 13-9 win over Cheap Goats, their third consecutive win to start the 2026 season. Alec had two homers in his 2026 season debut, Form had a triple, two homers, and five RBI in his first appearance of the season, and Bohn went 5-for-7 with two bombs and pitched the complete game win. Courtlen and Christian had huge games in the Cheap Goats loss, each going 4-for-4.
Conor started on the mound for Cheap Goats, and Guac Boys got to work immediately in the top of the first. Bohn and Tone opened the game with consecutive singles before Form connected for a three-run homer, giving Guac Boys a 3-0 lead. Alec grounded out before Bohn followed with a solo homer, extending the lead to 4-0. Tone grounded out to end the inning.
Bohn took the mound for Guac Boys and retired Joey and Kevin in order in the bottom of the first.
Form and Alec were retired in order in the top of the second as Conor worked a quick inning for Cheap Goats.
Cheap Goats answered in the bottom of the second. Courtlen led off the inning with a solo homer before Christian followed with a solo shot of his own, and the back-to-back blasts cut the deficit to 4-2. Dinger and Conor followed with consecutive singles before Joey hit a single. Dinger and Conor were both doubled up on the play, ending the inning and preventing further damage.
Bohn flew out to begin the top of the third before Tone grounded out as Conor continued to settle in on the mound.
Kevin led off the bottom of the third with a triple before Courtlen drove him in with an RBI single, cutting the Guac Boys lead to 4-3. Christian then connected for a two-run homer, his second of the game, giving Cheap Goats their first lead at 5-4. Dinger and Conor were both retired to end the inning.
Form grounded out to begin the top of the fourth before Alec connected for a solo homer, his first of the season, tying the game at 5-5. Bohn followed with his second homer of the game, giving Guac Boys the lead back at 6-5. Tone then connected for a solo homer, extending the advantage to 7-5. Cheap Goats turned to their bullpen, bringing Christian to the mound, and he retired Form to end the inning.
Joey struck out to begin the bottom of the fourth before Kevin grounded out as Bohn worked another quick inning.
Alec grounded out to begin the top of the fifth before Bohn flew out as Christian kept Cheap Goats within striking distance.
Courtlen led off the bottom of the fifth with his second homer of the game, cutting the deficit to 7-6. Christian followed with a triple before Dinger drove him in with an RBI double, tying the game at 7-7. Conor grounded out before Joey singled, but Joey was thrown out attempting to advance to second, ending the inning.
Tone grounded out to begin the top of the sixth before Form connected for his second homer of the game, a solo shot that gave Guac Boys an 8-7 lead. Alec followed with a single before Bohn drove him in with an RBI single, extending the lead to 9-7. Tone then added an RBI single to score Bohn, and Guac Boys led 10-7. Form followed with an RBI triple, scoring Tone and pushing the lead to 11-7. Alec followed with a two-run homer, capping a six-run inning and extending the Guac Boys advantage to 13-7. Cheap Goats then turned to Dinger on the mound, and he retired Bohn to end the inning.
Kevin flew out to begin the bottom of the sixth before Courtlen connected for his third homer of the game. Christian followed with his second homer of the evening, the second time the two had gone back-to-back in the game, cutting the deficit to 13-9. Dinger later doubled, but Conor flew out to end the game as Guac Boys secured the 13-9 victory.
The win moved Guac Boys to 3-0 on the season while Cheap Goats dropped to 1-2.
