In yet another close vote, Vassallo of the Fish Sticks received several more votes than 4 out of 5 Dentists’ Ron and was named the Pabst Blue Ribbon Wiffler of the Week for Week 5.
Vassallo resurrected at the plate in week 5, exploding with a 4-4 performance in a win over the Caucasians, belting 3 bombs and driving in four runs. For the week he was 5 for 8, and also recorded a total of 7 put-outs.
