Chris of 4 out of 5 Dentists was named Pabst Blue Ribbon Wiffler of the Week for Week 8. There was no voting for week 8, so the Wiffler of the Week was selected by a special Commissioner vote.
Week 8 was dominated by pitching and inconsistency, as no one had a truly great week. But Chris continued to rule on the mound, giving up two-hits and one earned run, striking out one in a near perfect game against Pumice on Slow! The win moved him to 6-0 on the season. He also had the only hit, a solo home run, in the Dentists’ 1-0 win over the Fish Sticks.
For the week he pitched 6 innings, striking out one, giving up one run on two hits. At the plate, he was 2 for 8 with two homers and three RBI. He also recorded 6 putouts for the week.
Voting for Wiffler of the Week will resume in week 9.
