Questionable Outfit blitzed past the Ham Slams 13-6 as three players each hit three homers and another hit two, and Mike went the distance, keeping the Slams offense in check.

Charlie started on the mound for the Slams, and he got off to a good start, retiring the side in order in the top of the first. Mike matched him in the bottom of the first, and the game was scoreless through an inning.

Questionable Outfit took the lead in the top of the second. With one out, Mike hit a solo shot to left, putting his team up 1-0. After Bob singled, Tom crushed a two-run bomb to deep left-center, and Questionable led 3-0. Reilly followed with a homer, and the back-to-back jacks made the score 4-0. Mike followed with a single, his second hit of the inning, but Charlie retired the next batter to end the inning. Mike cruised through the bottom of the second, and Questionable would hold a four-run lead after two innings.

Reilly hit a one-out solo homer in the top of the third, his second of the game, as Questionable Outfit extended their lead to 5-0. The Slams would get on the board in the bottom of the third when Adam hit a one-out solo homer to right. Steve followed with a one-out triple, but the Slams couldn’t extend the rally.

Bob led off the top of the fourth with a solo homer, making the score 6-1. Charlie avoided another big inning, retiring the next two batters.

The Slams would draw closer in the bottom of the fourth, starting with Tim, who led off the inning with a home run to make the score 6-2. Later in the inning, Steve hit a one-out triple and scored on an Alan single to bring the score to 6-3.

The Ham Slams had narrowed the deficit to three runs, but Questionable Outfit blew the game open in the top of the fifth. Questionable started the inning with each of their players hitting a home run for four consecutive homers, a feat that has rarely been accomplished in EWL history. Mike, Bob, Tom, and Reilly hit back-to-back-to-back-to-back homers, pushing their lead to 10-3. Mike broke the home run streak with a double, but scored on a Bob groundout to make the score 11-3. Tom followed with a solo homer, his second of the inning and third of the game, and Questionable Outfit led 12-3 heading into the bottom of the fifth.

Adam led off the inning with a homer, his second of the game, which cut the score to 12-4. Mike avoided further erosion into the Questionable lead by retiring the next two batters.

Mike would add one more run in the top of the sixth when he led off the inning with a homer. Charlie retired the next two batters, and the Slams came into their final at-bat trailing 13-4.

Tim started the bottom of the final frame with a homer, his second of the game, and the score was 13-5. Adam followed with his third jack of the game, and the back-to-back homers made the score 13-6. Steve followed with a double, and just when it looked like the Slams may rally, he was called out trying to extend the hit into a triple. Alan then singled to keep the Slams alive, but Mike fanned Tim, the next batter, for the second out of the inning, ending the game.
