Nate flew out to left for the first out of the inning, but a throwing error led to both runners scoring on a sacrifice fly, and the score was 12-5. Jordan then retired Bob for the second out of the inning, and Cookies trailed by seven runs heading into their final at-bat.

Dinger started the bottom of the sixth with a single, and two batters later, Blose hit a one-out two-run bomb to center, making the score 12-7.
