After retiring Tom for the first out of the inning, Christian gave up another high fly ball to Mike. In similar fashion, fielding errors led to Mike attempting to complete an inside-the-parker, but Eastbound relayed the ball to the mound before Mike crossed home, and the second out of the inning narrowly prevented another Questionable Outfit run.

Similar to earlier in the game, a series of fielding errors led to Nate attempting to round the bases, but he was caught in between third and home, ending the inning.
