Kimble and Questionable Outfit had a historically productive year on offense, breaking multiple team single-season records, many of them their own that were previously set last season. Questionable Outfit broke the most records this season, but all three other teams also tied or set new records in 2015. See the entire list below.

– Questionable Outfit tied the team record for triples in a season with 119. They tied the Fish Sticks, who also hit 19 in 2012.

A year after rewriting the record book with multiple broken records, Bob only broke a few, most notably, his own single-season home run record.

Just a year after setting the single-season record for home runs with 30 (breaking Morrison’s previous record of 28), Bob shattered his own record with 34 blasts in 2015. He had 10 multi-homer games and tied the single-game record with 5 home runs in one game in June. Bob’s homers stole the headlines, but several other players tied or set new single-season records. See the full list below.

– Mike (Questionable Outfit) tied the record of 8 triples, previously set by Joey (Fish Sticks) in 2012 and Anthony (Ham Slams) in 2014.

Cookies & Cream Blow Past Eastbound & Dahn 18-3 to Clinch #3 Seed in Playoffs

The Ham Slams needed Cookies & Cream to lose to pass them in the standings and earn the #3 seed in the playoffs, but Cookies took care of business in a big way, easily defeating Eastbound & Dahn 18-3. Cookies had lost seven straight coming into the game and had not won a single game since defeating Eastbound on June 9th. However, Cookies had a monster game on offense, as Joey and Dinger each went 7-for-9, Blose hit for the cycle, and Guthrie hit 3 bombs while pitching a complete game win. The two teams will now meet again in the first round of the playoffs, which begin next week.

Nate took the mound for Eastbound & Dahn, and he got into trouble immediately in the top of the first. Joey led off the game with a solo homer, his fifth leadoff homer of the 2015 season, and Cookies went up 1-0. The next batter, Blose, crushed a solo shot to center, and the back-to-back homers gave Cookies a 2-0 lead. Nate retired Dinger, but Guthrie followed with a solo homer, making the score 3-0. Joey then singled, but Nate retired Blose to strand the runner and end the inning.

Guthrie started for Cookies & Cream, and he was in much better form than week 9 when he was shelled by Questionable Outfit. He gave up a lead off single to Tim, but stranded the runner, retiring Nate and Christian to end the inning.

Dinger led off the top of the second with a solo homer, and all four Cookies players had homered in the game. Joey hit a one-out double, but Nate stranded him, and Cookies led 4-0.

Tim hit a one-out double in the bottom of the second, his second of the game, and he scored when Nate followed with an RBI double. Guthrie stranded Nate at second, and the score was 4-1 through two innings.

For the second consecutive inning, Dinger led off the top of the third with a solo bomb, and his second homer of the game made the score 5-1. Guthrie then tripled, but Cookies couldn’t add to their lead, as Nate retired Joey and Blose to end the inning.

Guthrie retired the side in order in the bottom of the third, and the score remained 5-1.

Cookies & Cream were up four heading into the top of the fourth, and they blew the game open with a seven-run explosion. Dinger singled to start the inning, and Guthrie followed with a two-run homer to make the score 7-1. Joey then doubled, and Blose drove him in with a two-run blast, putting Cookies ahead 9-1. Dinger doubled, and Guthrie hit his second two-run home run of the inning, extending the lead to 11-1. Joey then doubled off the fence, but accidentally lifted his foot from second base while Nate possessed the ball on the mound, which became the first out of the inning. Blose followed the base running mistake with a triple, and he scored on a Dinger RBI double which made the score 12-1. Nate then finally retired Guthrie to end the inning, but Cookies had pulled ahead by eleven runs.

Nate provided his own run support in the bottom of the fourth, hitting a solo homer to start the inning, which cut the score to 12-2. Christian followed with a double, and it looked as if Eastbound would rally. However, when the next batter Steve hit a double, base running errors led to Blose turning a double play, stranding two runners and ending the threat quickly.

Up 12-2, Cookies poured salt in the wound in the top of the fifth. Joey led off the inning with a solo shot, his second of the game, making the score 13-2. Blose then doubled and moved to third on a Dinger single. Guthrie singled on a fielding error, and Joey came to the plate with the bases loaded. He crushed a deep fly ball to left, but the ball went just foul, narrowly missing a grand slam. He then grounded out to left, but two runs scored on the play and the score was 15-2. Blose then hit an RBI single to score Guthrie, putting Cookies ahead 16-2. Dinger singled to put runners on the corners, and Guthrie followed with a single, scoring Blose to make the score 17-2. Joey then hit Cookies fourth consecutive single, scoring Blose on the play to extend the Cookies & Cream lead to 18-2. Nate finally retired Blose to end the inning, stranding two runners.

Tim led off the bottom of the fifth with a solo homer, which cut the score to 18-3. Christian later hit a one-out single, but Guthrie avoided further damage, stranding the runner to end the inning.

Nate retired Dinger and Guthrie consecutively in the top of the sixth, the first scoreless inning by Cookies & Cream.

Down fifteen runs, Eastbound couldn’t generate offense in the bottom of the sixth. Guthrie retired Tim and Nate to end the inning and the game, giving Cookies & Cream the win and the #3 seed in the playoffs.

The win snapped Cookies & Cream’s seven-game losing streak and moved them to 8-12 on the season. The loss dropped Eastbound & Dahn to 10-10 on the year. Eastbound & Dahn won the season series with Cookies & Cream 4-3, and the two teams will meet in the best-of-five first round series in the playoffs.

The Ham Slams trailed early but pulled away late to top Questionable Outfit 12-5 and head into the playoffs having won two straight and seven of their last ten. The Slams had done everything they could to earn the #3 seed in the playoffs, winning their final two games to pull to 8-12 on the year. They would need Eastbound & Dahn to beat Cookies & Cream to give them a one game lead in the standings over Cookies in order to claim the #3 seed. If Cookies topped Eastbound, the Ham Slams would finished tied with Cookies in the standings at 8-12 and would lose the tiebreaker due to run differential.

Mike started for Questionable Outfit, and he started the game by retiring Tim, who had went 8-for-8 in the first game of week 10. The next batter, Dan, launched a solo homer to left, and the Ham Slams led 1-0 early. Mike then retired Alan to end the inning.

With two innings of eligibility left in week 10, Charlie started for the Ham Slams, and he retired Questionable Outfit in order in the bottom of the first.

Mike escaped trouble in the top of the second, avoiding a potentially bad inning. He retired Steve to start the inning, but Tim and Dan each followed with singles. Continuing their poor base running from the first game of week 1, Tim was caught in between first and second for the second out of the inning, stranding both runners as the score remained 1-0.

Questionable Outfit got to Charlie and the Slams in the bottom of the second, taking the lead with a slew of hits. Reilly singled to lead off the inning and moved to second when Mike followed with a single. Charlie got Bob to ground out for the first out of the inning, but Reilly scored on the play to tie the game at 1-1. Tom then followed with a two-run bomb to left, putting Questionable Outfit ahead 3-1. Reilly then doubled, and Mike followed with an RBI triple to make the score 4-1. Charlie then retired Bob to strand Mike at third, ending the inning.

Down three runs, the Slams cut into the Questionable lead in the top of the third. With one out, Steve hit a solo homer, and the score was 4-2. Tim followed with his own solo shot, and the back-to-back jacks cut the deficit to 4-3.

Charlie had reached his innings limit for week 10, and the Ham Slams turned to Tim from the bullpen. He gave up a single to the first batter he faced, Tom, but retired the next two batters to strand the runner at first, and the score remained 4-3.

Down by a run, the Ham Slams exploded in the top of the fourth, pulling back ahead of Questionable Outfit. Alan led off the inning with a double, and two batters later, Tim hit an RBI single to tie the game at 4-4. Dan followed with a two-run jack, his second home run of the game, and the Slams led 6-4. Alan then hit his second double of the inning, and Steve drove him in with a two-run homer, making the score 8-4. Tim singled for the second time in the inning, and he scored from first when Dan hit an RBI double. Mike then retired Alan to strand Dan at second, but the Ham Slams had scored six runs in the top of the fourth to pull ahead by five runs 9-4.

Tom would cut the Ham Slams lead with a one-out solo homer in the bottom of the fourth, but Questionable couldn’t rally, and the score was 9-5.

The Slams added two insurance runs in the top of the fifth. Steve doubled to start the inning, and Tim followed with a two-run homer, putting the Ham Slams ahead 11-5. Tim would be the final batter Mike faced, as Questionable removed him from the game and put Tom on the mound. Tom retired Dan, gave up a one-out single to Alan, and then retired Steve to end the inning.

Tim retired Mike for the first out of the inning, and Bob came to the plate with one out and 0-for-4 to this point. Bob was sitting on the second longest active hitting streak in the EWL at 55 games, and this would likely be his final at-bat of the game and the regular season. He hit a sharp ground ball to right field that went off the fence. Dan went to field it, but the ball slipped between his legs, and Bob reached first base safely. The single extended his hitting streak to 56 games, behind only Blose’s active streak of 62 games with a hit. Tim then retired Tom to strand Bob at first, and the Ham Slams continued to lead 11-5.

The Slams would add a final run to their lead in the top of the sixth. Tim singled to lead off the inning and moved to second when Dan followed with a single. Alan grounded out for the first out of the inning, but Tim scored on the play, making the score 12-5. Tom then retired Steve to strand the runner, but the Slams led by seven heading into the final frame.

Questionable Outfit went quietly in the bottom of the sixth, as Tim retired Reilly and Mike in order to end the game.

The win moved the Ham Slams to 8-12 on the year and a Cookies & Cream loss away from the #3 seed. The loss dropped Questionable Outfit to 14-6. Questionable Outfit won the season series with the Ham Slams 6-1, having won the first six matchups between the teams before dropping this week’s game.

Bob extended his single-season record for homers, hitting his 32nd, 33rd, and 34th blasts of the season as Questionable Outfit’s offense was too much for Cookies & Cream in a 12-7 win.

After breaking his own record of 30 home runs that was set last season with his 31st home run of this season last week, Bob got right back to work in the final week of the regular season. He led off the game with a solo shot to the opposite field off Cookies & Cream’s starter, Dinger, and Questionable Outfit led the game 1-0 immediately. Reilly later hit a one-out single and moved to second when Mike followed with a single, but Dinger stranded both runners, retiring Bob to avoid further damage.

Reilly took the mound for Eastbound in what would likely be his final start of the 2015 regular season, and he retired the side in order in the bottom of the first.

Questionable would add to their lead in the top of the second. Tom led off the inning with a single and moved to third on a Reilly double to put two runners in scoring position with no outs. Mike then doubled into the left-field tree, scoring both runners to make the score 3-0. Bob grounded out to right for the first out of the inning, but Mike scored on the play, and Questionable led 4-0.

Cookies & Cream bounced back and cut into the deficit in the bottom of the second. Dinger led off the inning with a solo homer to make the score 4-1. Guthrie followed with a single, and Joey drove him in with a two-run homer. Reilly retired Blose and Dinger to end the inning, but Cookies had cut the score to 4-3.

Questionable made up the runs in the top of the third, pulling back ahead by a considerable margin. Reilly doubled to start the inning and scored on an RBI single by Mike to make the score 5-3. Two batters later Tom hit an RBI single to score Mike, and Reilly followed with a two-run homer, putting Questionable ahead 8-3.

Guthrie led off the bottom of the third with a single, but Reilly stranded him, retiring Joey and Blose to maintain the five-run lead.

Questionable extended their lead in the top of the fourth with back-to-back homers to lead off the inning. Bob started with his second of the game, and Tom followed with one of his own. Dinger retired the next two hitters, but Questionable pulled ahead 10-3.

Dinger started the bottom of the fourth with a single and moved to second on a Guthrie groundout to left. Joey then hit an RBI single out of the tree, scoring Dinger to cut the score to 10-4. Blose followed with a two-run blast, and the score was 10-6. Reilly then retired Dinger to end the Cookies rally.

Cookies turned to the bullpen, bringing in Blose to pitch relief. Bob led off the top of the fifth with his third homer of the game and 34th of the season, and Questionable led 11-6. Dinger retired Tom and Reilly to end the inning.

Guthrie led off bottom of the fifth with a single and moved to third on a Joey double, putting two runners in scoring position for Blose. Blose doubled, scoring Guthrie to make the score 11-7. It looked as if Cookies would threaten, but Reilly retired Dinger and Guthrie to strand two runners in scoring position, ending the inning.

Mike started the top of the sixth with a solo shot to left, putting Questionable ahead by five runs. Dinger retired the next two hitters, and Questionable led 12-7 heading into the bottom of the sixth.

Joey led off the bottom of the sixth with a double, but fell down in between second and third trying to extend the hit into a triple. He was called out on the play for the first out of the inning. Blose followed with a single, but Dinger retired Reilly to strand the runner, ending the inning and the game.

Questionable had held on to win 12-7 and moved to 14-5 on the season. Cookies fell to 8-11 with the loss. Questionable Outfit won the season series with Cookies & Cream 5-2, winning their final four matchups.
