Ron of 4 out of 5 Dentists delivers a pitch to Frosty of Caucasian Vaginas in game 2 of Opening Day

The second game of week 1 was a pitcher’s duel as Guthrie of Caucasian Vaginas yielded only one run on four hits to pick up the win. Ron of 4 out of 5 Dentists took the lost despite scattering only 3 hits over six innings.

No runs were scored over the games first three innings as both teams’ pitchers and defenses shut down the opposing lineups. Over the first five innings, Ron of 4 out of 5 Dentists gave up only one hit, to the game’s first batter Les, while striking out one.

Guthrie had a perfect game in tact through 3.5 innings when Jordan of 4 out of 5 scored the games first run on a solo shot to center, putting the dentists up 1-0 midway through 3 innings. Guthrie then retired the side, and after giving up a single to Ron in the bottom of the 4th, retired the next two batters. Heading into the 5th, the Caucasians trailed by one run.

Despite only giving up one hit through five innings, the victory slipped away from Ron and 4 out of 5 in the top of the sixth as the Caucasians came to life. Guthrie singled to lead off the inning. After Les flew out to left field, Frosty belted a two run blast to left, his first hit of the day, putting the Vaginas up 2-1. Ron then retired the side when Morrison grounded out to left field.

With their backs against the wall, 4 out of 5 Dentists looked to rally in the bottom of the sixth when Braydn led off the inning with a single. But when the next batter, Ron, hit the ball to center field, Braydn was pegged out running the bases by Frosty. Guthrie then retired Geoff, the next batter, to end the game, stranding the tying run on first.
