Despite losing their team captain, Miller, to what later was diagnosed as the worst injury in the history of the EWL, the Porkswords beat Cheap Goats 8-7 led by Josh, who went 6-for-6 with two home runs. Miller came up lame after making an approach toward a fly ball in foul territory and immediately left the game. He was later diagnosed with a ruptured achilles tendon, the a season-ending injury that became the most severe wiffle injury the league has seen.
