Bob went 7-for-8, hitting for the cycle with three singles, two doubles, a triple, a home run, six runs scored, and 3 RBI as Questionable Outfit rolled through Eastbound & Dahn for the second week in a row. Questionable Outfit has now outscored Eastbound 38-2 over the course of their two meetings this season.

Tom took the mound for Questionable Outfit in his first start of the 2016 season, and he escaped an early jam in the top of the first. With one out, Christian singled and moved from first to third when Cara singled in her first career at-bat. Eastbound & Dahn threatened with runners on the corners, but Tom buckled down, retiring BK to strand both runners and end the inning.

Questionable Outfit took an early lead in the bottom of the first. Tom tripled with one out in his first at-bat of the season, and he scored on a Mike RBI double that put Questionable ahead 1-0. Christian, Eastbound & Dahn’s starting pitcher, then retired Nate to strand Mike and end the inning.

Kyle led off the top of the second with a double, but Eastbound couldn’t capitalize, as Tom retired Nate and Christian to strand the runner and end the inning.

Questionable would open up a bigger lead in the bottom of the second. Bob started with a single, and after Tom grounded out for the first out, Mike hit a two-run bomb to left, making the score 3-0. Nate then singled, and Bob drove him in with a two-run shot, putting Questionable ahead 5-0. Tom followed with a double, but Christian avoided a catastrophic inning, retiring Mike for the second out.

Tom rolled through the top of the third, striking out Cara and retiring BK for a scoreless inning.

Questionable added more run support for Tom in the bottom of the third. Nate led off the inning with a solo homer to make the score 6-0. Bob then tripled, and Mike hit a one-out single to score him, putting Questionable Outfit ahead 7-0. Nate then flew out to end the inning.

Tom retired the side in order in the top of the fourth, and Questionable continued to lead by seven runs.

Questionable blew the game open in the bottom of the fourth. Bob led off with a double and moved to third on a Tom sacrifice fly. Mike then hit an RBI double, scoring Bob to make the score 8-0. Nate followed with a double, scoring Mike to extend the Questionable lead to 9-0. Bob then doubled for the second time in the inning, scoring Nate to make the score 10-0. With Bob on second, Tom crushed a two-run blast to left-center, and Questionable Outfit led 12-0. Christian would retire Mike for the second out, finally ending the inning.

Christian led off the top of the fifth with a single, but Eastbound continued to strand runners, as Tom retired Cara and BK to end the inning and maintain the twelve run lead.

Questionable added insult to injury in the bottom of the fifth, piling on more runs. Nate led off the inning with a solo shot, making the score 13-0. Bob then doubled, and he moved to third on a Tom double. With two runners in scoring position, Mike hit a three-run blast, putting his RBI tally at eight for the game, and putting Questionable Outfit ahead 16-0. Nate then singled, but was caught trying to extend the hit into a double by BK for the first out of the inning. Bob singled for his seventh hit in the game, but Christian retired Tom to end the inning.

Down 16-0, Eastbound would finally score against Questionable in the top of the sixth. Kyle led off with a single, and Nate followed with a two-run homer to left, cutting the deficit to fourteen runs at 16-2. Cara later hit a one-out single, but Tom avoided further damage, retiring BK for the second out of the inning, ending the game.

The win moved Questionable Outfit to 2-1 on the year, and the loss dropped Eastbound & Dahn to 0-3.
