With the game tied at 3-3 after six innings, Cheap Goats and Jack Shack went to extra innings, where the scoring took off. Cheap Goats scored two in the bottom of the seventh, which couldn’t match Jack Shack’s six runs in the top of the seventh, as Jack Shack won 9-5. Dustin, Brian, and Adam each homered and had three hits to lead the way for the defending champs.
Dinger took the mound for Cheap Goats, and after allowing a leadoff single to Brian in the top of the first, he retired Turbo and Dustin to strand the runner at first, ending the inning.
Dinger grabs a fly ball for an out
Brian started for Jack Shack and he retired Brett and Joey consecutively in the bottom of the first.
Dinger rolled in the top of the second, sending Adam and Josh D down in order.
Miller tripled to lead off the bottom of the second, and when Jordan flew out to center for the first out of the inning, Miller attempted to tag from third and score. Dustin gunned him down from center, however, ending the inning, and the game was scoreless through two innings.

Jack Shack got on the board in the top of the third. Turbo doubled with one out, and Dustin drove him in with an RBI double, making the score 1-0. Adam then doubled, scoring Turbo, and Jack Shack led 2-0. Dinger then retired Josh D for the second out, stranding Adam at second and ending the inning.
Christian singled to start the bottom of the third, but for the second consecutive inning, Dustin gunned down a runner. He caught Christian attempting to extend the single into a double, for the first out of the inning. Brian then retired Dinger to end the inning.
Dustin went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a homer, and three RBI to lead Jack Shack on offense
Brian led off the top of the fourth with a solo homer, putting Jack Shack ahead 3-0. Dinger then retired Turbo and Dustin, and Jack Shack led by three runs.
Cheap Goats got on the board in the bottom of the fourth when Brett led off the inning with a solo shot to right-center, making the score 3-1. Joey then doubled, and he scored from second when Miller grounded out to left for the first out of the inning. Brian retired Jordan to end the inning, and Cheap Goats had cut the Jack Shack lead to 3-2.

Dinger retired the side in order in the top of the fifth, sending Adam and Josh D down consecutively.
Dinger doubled with one out in the bottom of the fifth, and Brett drove him in with an RBI single, tying the game at 3-3. Brian then retired Joey to strand Brett at first, ending the inning.
Dinger once again retired the side in the top of the sixth, sending Brian and Turbo down.
Adam went 3-for-5 with two doubles, and a homer, with two of the hits coming in the top of the seventh inning
Brian matched him in the bottom of the sixth, retiring Miller and Jordan, sending the game to extra innings.
With the game tied at 3-3, Jack Shack unleashed a barrage of runs in the top of the seventh. Dinger remained on the mound, and the first batter he faced, Dustin, doubled. Adam followed with a two-run homer, putting Jack Shack ahead 5-3. Josh D singled, and Brian doubled, putting runners on second and third with no outs. Dinger retired Turbo for the first out of the inning, but Josh D scored on the play, and Jack Shack led 6-3. Dustin then cleared the bases with a two-run bomb, putting Jack Shack in front 8-3. Adam followed with a double, and he scored when Josh D hit an RBI double, extending the Jack Shack lead to 9-3. Dinger retired Brian to finally escape the inning, but Jack Shack had scored six runs in the first extra-innings frame, pulling ahead 9-3.
Cheap Goats put up a fight in the bottom of the sixth. Brian struck out Christian to start the inning, but Dinger followed with a one-out single. Brett then hit his second blast of the game, a two-run homer that cut the score to 9-5. Joey doubled, but the rally would end there, as Brian retired Miller to strand the runner at second, ending the game and giving Jack Shack a 9-5 victory.

The win moved Jack Shack to 3-4 on the season, and Cheap Goats fell to 5-2.
