John’s RBI double in the top of the eight plated the first of four runs in the extra frame.

The Porkswords came back from the two week layoff swinging hot bats, and they took advantage of multiple fielding errors on the part of Cheap Goats. Josh led off the resumed game with a triple, and John, who had substituted for Steve, drove him in with an RBI double that put the Porkswords ahead 4-3. Adam then doubled, scoring John to make the score 5-3. Savage followed with another double, scoring Adam, and the Porkswords led 6-3. Josh got his second hit of the inning, an RBI single that scored Savage, and the Porkswords had scored four consecutive runs to take a 7-3 lead.
